Mindfulness Team Training

Join the High School Mindfulness Team

Everyone experiences some amount of anxiety, it is a normal reaction to stress, and may help us deal with tense or overwhelming situations. For many students, things like public speaking, exams, athletic competitions, or social interactions can cause feelings of apprehension and uneasiness.

Mindfulness techniques and tools can have a positive impact in the following ways:
  • Increasing performance in academics, sports and work
  • Improving relationships, sleep and the immune system
  • Enhancing creativity, attention and concentration--the foundation for all learning
  • Reducing stress and difficult emotions
  • Developing well-being
