Everyone experiences some amount of anxiety, it is a normal reaction to stress, and may help us deal with tense or overwhelming situations. For many students, things like public speaking, exams, athletic competitions, or social interactions can cause feelings of apprehension and uneasiness.
Increasing performance in academics, sports and work
Improving relationships, sleep and the immune system
Enhancing creativity, attention and concentration--the foundation for all learning

Led by national expert and trainer, Kathy Flaminio, through lecture, hands-on learning, reflection and discussion participants will learn breathing exercises, simple regulating movement and social/emotional skill development activities to incorporate into their High School environments. High School leaders will walk away with practices to assist their peers with self-regulation, focus, de-escalation, community connection and overall wellbeing.
