Do you love food rescue?
Table to Table’s Annual Benefit Dinner provides an opportunity for the community to gather and enjoy unique offerings from local restaurants while supporting food rescue efforts in Johnson County. During the evening, guests will be provided an in-depth look at how our recipient agencies take the ingredients we bring to them and create wholesome, nourishing meals for the people they serve.
Tickets can be purchased at https://table2table.org/dinner. Early Bird pricing special: Purchase your tickets on or before March 20 to receive 15% off!
Every day, Table to Table volunteers pick up nutritious food that may not be “sellable” and would otherwise be thrown out from grocery stores, restaurants, convenience stores, schools, and other food donor sites. We deliver this food directly to agencies that can put it to good use – community food pantries and food banks, childcare centers, youth programs, shelters and hot meal sites – helping to feed their clients as well as cut down on food costs for the agency.
Table to Table was established in 1996 and is Iowa’s original food rescue organization. Over the past 24 years, Table to Table has rescued over 20 million pounds of good food and delivered it to thousands of Johnson County residents through agencies serving those in need.
