2018 Brake the Cycle - Shelter House

Brake the Cycle: Brake the Cycle riders combine their support to end homelessness with the joy of cycling. Be a catalyst for change and join us for a 15-mile fun ride benefiting Shelter House on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Terry Trueblood Recreation Area. Check-in opens at 9:00am. Kickstands up at 10:15am. The route includes optional stops at your favorite watering holes to relax and grab a drink. Register as a cyclist or supporter and break the cycle of homelessness one pedal stroke at a time!

Ride Details:

$25 – Early Bird registration until May 31, 2018
$35 – Pre-registration
$50 – Day of Ride registration

We encourage riders and supporters to shift their participation into high-gear and become fundraising champions to support Shelter House’s emergency, stabilization, and long-term solution programs to help people get back on their feet and move beyond homelessness. Together, we will build a healthier & stronger community. Mission champions who fundraise or donate the following to support Shelter House will receive:

$100 – Event t-shirt
$250 – Access to VIP tent at Big Grove Brewery & Taproom includes: event t-shirt, water bottle, food and drink tickets, and drawings for great cycling door prizes.

 

About Shelter House:

Much more than a roof and a bed. Since 1983, Shelter House has provided safe shelter and helped people improve the quality of their lives as they move beyond homelessness. We focus on programs and support services including housing, employment, and mental health that help hundreds of men, women, and children each year to get back on their feet.
