Fine Art Benefit for Victim-Survivors

Celebration Farm Round Barn

The Domestic Violence Intervention Program (DVIP) is currently facing a 40% cut to the Federal funding received through the Victims of Crime Act Assistance Funds, nearly 25% of their annual budget. This emergent need for support has motivated them to bring back the Fine Arts Benefit, previously known as Fine Art and Fun. The Fine Arts Benefit to Support Victim-Survivors will be held at the Celebration Barn on June 28th, 2024. DVIP is urging those who love art, music, and supporting our community's most vulnerable to join them in raising $100,000 to support the free and confidential life-saving programming they provide.

As in past years, on the night of the event attendees will be able to participate in a live (positive) auction or the silent auction which will be available online from June 15th to June 28th. With over 75 participating artists and art collector donations, there will be something for everyone. “We are so honored to have such incredible talent donating their artwork to support the victim-survivors we serve,” said Director of Community Engagement, Alta Medea. “Due to funding cuts, this event will provide much-needed support to our program and ensure that our advocates are available when they are needed.”
Some of the participating artists include but are not limited to:

Simon Levin
Kay Irelan
Tim Schuett
Oona Lewis
Jeanne Moy
Jenny Johnson
Tomas Lasansky
Cheryl Marx-Jacobson
