The Iowa Mission of Mercy (IMOM) is a large-scale, two-day community dental clinic where dental professionals and general volunteers donate their time to provide free oral health care to individuals who face barriers to receiving dental care. A full-service field dental clinic with 100 dental operatories is set up and patients are treated on a first-come/first-served basis. Since the first IMOM in 2008, over 18,583 patients from all areas of the state and beyond have received free dental care totaling nearly $13.3 million!
IMOM 2025 will be on September 19-20 at the Hyatt Regency Coralville. Patients will be seen on a first-come/first-served basis and we do not make appointments. The clinic will open at 6:00 am both Friday and Saturday and we will continue to allow patients to enter until capacity has been reached.
