The United Way Adopt-a-Family Program allows businesses, community members, groups and organizations to provide local families with food, necessity items and gifts during the holidays. Families are identified by service agencies and they are experiencing extraordinary needs due to health issues, financial instability or other major circumstances. Adopters will receive the family wish list with information about the family, clothing sizes and items identified by the family. There are families of all sizes and stages that have need for support this year.
To adopt a family, get more information or provide support for this program, provide your information below or contact Patti at United Way of Johnson and Washington Counties at (319) 338-7823 or firstname.lastname@example.org
In 2020, United Way of Johnson and Washington Counties connected 112 local families (504 individuals) with adopters through the program. Thank you all for your support.
