The Salvation Army is an evangelical religious based nonprofit that believes in not only helping face the hardships of poverty, but also preventing and breaking the cycle of poverty. Programs through The Salvation Army include: Pathway to Hope, families work alongside case managers to plan and set goals, get connected to resources, and learn to support themselves out of poverty; Homeless Assistance and Prevention, provides a variety of resources from emergency housing and shelter to billing assistance, to meet our homeless community in every way; Food Assistance Services, contains many programs that provides warm meals to those in need every day; Material Assistance, provides clothing, furniture, household goods, and transportation assistance to those in need.
